Vassia Spanos has a diverse background in dance and wellness. Possessing a master’s degree in dance education from NYU, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field of performing arts.
Vassia’s associate degree in occupational studies reflects her dedication to promoting a multi-faceted approach to health, addressing both the fine and gross motor skill needs of her clients. Her commitment to providing a holistic approach to her practice extends to her work in Pilates, yoga, and massage therapy all in which she holds certifications.
Vassia is a writer for the prestigious Shape Magazine. Her articles teach the significance of self-care and movement to promote optimal health. Readers of all ages benefit from her guidance.
Vassia’s passion for education has led her to attain her teaching license in Dance Education. She currently imparts her knowledge and love for dance to students in a New York public school. In addition to her teaching role, Vassia has trained soloists affiliated with the renowned American Ballet Theater (ABT), further highlighting her commitment to the art of dance.
Vassia has had the privilege of gracing television screens throughout Greece, showcasing her talents and passion for the arts. She has also had the pleasure of dancing at Radio City Music Hall and BAM theater with remarkable artists and has performed in numerous productions in Greece.Vassia is trained in the Vaganova system and the Limon and Martha Graham technique.
